This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use Tifo. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason. We will alert you about any changes by updating the “Last updated” date of this Privacy Policy. You are encouraged to periodically review this Privacy Policy to stay informed of updates. You will be deemed to have been made aware of, will be subject to, and will be deemed to have accepted the changes in any revised Privacy Policy by your continued use of Tifo after the date such revised Privacy Policy is posted.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the third-party online/mobile store from which you install Tifo or make payments, which may also collect and use data about you. We are not responsible for any of the data collected by any such third party.

COLLECTION OF YOUR INFORMATION

 

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect via Tifo depends on the content and materials you use, and includes:

Personal Data

Demographic and other personally identifiable information (such as your name and email address) that you voluntarily give to us when choosing to participate in various activities related to Tifo, such as creating an account, chat, uploading photos, sending feedback, and responding to surveys. If you choose to share data about yourself via your profile, online chat, or other interactive areas of Tifo, please be advised that all data you disclose in these areas is public and your data will be accessible to anyone who uses Tifo.

In-app Actions

We collect data that are related to action you take within Tifo, including loving photos, indicating whether you will be attending an event, or replying to a chat message, as well as other interactions with Tifo and other users.

 

Derivative Data

Information our servers automatically collect when you use Tifo. This does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as IP address, device characteristics, operating system, and other technical information primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of Tifo, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

 

Geo-Location Information

We only request for your geo-location information when you search for supporters clubs near you. We do not store your searches or your geo-location information. However, if you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device’s settings.

 

Mobile Device Access

We request access or permission to your mobile device’s camera or media storage only when attempting to upload media content onto Tifo. If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device’s settings.

 

Mobile Device Data

Device information such as your mobile device ID number, model, and manufacturer, version of your operating system may be collected for crash reporting and analytical purposes to improve the quality of your experience with Tifo.

Push Notifications

We may request to send you push notifications regarding your supporters club, account or Tifo. If you wish to opt-out from receiving these types of communications, you may turn them off in your device’s settings.

Third-Party Data

We do not collect data about you from any third-party.

USE OF YOUR INFORMATION

 

Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via Tifo to:

 

  1. Create and manage your account.

  2. Email you during the account creation process or password reset process.

  3. Enable user-to-user communication.

  4. Generate a personal profile about you to make future use of Tifo more personalized.

  5. Increase the efficiency and operation of Tifo.

  6. Monitor and analyze crash reports, usage and trends to improve your     experience with Tifo.

  7. Prevent fraudulent transactions, monitor against theft, and protect against     criminal activity.

  8. Request feedback and contact you about your use of Tifo.    

  9. Resolve disputes and troubleshoot problems.

We may share your information with investors for the purpose of conducting general business analysis. We may also share your information with such third parties for marketing purposes, as permitted by law.

Sale or Bankruptcy

If we reorganize or sell all or a portion of our assets, undergo a merger, or are acquired by another entity, we may transfer your information to the successor entity. If we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, your information would be an asset transferred or acquired by a third party. Before visiting and providing any information to any third-party websites, you should inform yourself of the privacy policies and practices (if any) of the third party responsible for that website, and should take those steps necessary to, in your discretion, protect the privacy of your information. We are not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices and policies of any third parties, including other sites, services or applications that may be linked to or from Tifo.

DATA RETENTION

 

For security, privacy, and efficiency purposes, we prefer to delete data rather than archive. For instance, if you upload a photo and later delete it, it will be permanently deleted from Tifo rather than just being disabled from being accessed.

We only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy. No purpose in this policy will require us keeping your personal information for longer than the period of time in which users have an account with us.

When we have ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

 

SECURITY OF YOUR INFORMATION

We people signing up to use Tifo certify that they are 18 years or older. However, if you have if you have mistakenly created an account and are under 18 years of age, reside in California, and have a registered account with Tifo, you have the right to request removal of unwanted data that you publicly post Tifo. To request removal of such data, please contact us using the contact information provided below, and include the email address associated with your account and a statement that you reside in California. We will make sure the data is not publicly displayed on Tifo, but please be aware that the data may not be completely or comprehensively removed from our systems.
